Become a lord (laird) and buy a title from the Kincavel Estate which lies on the beautiful Ardnamurchan peninsular, it covers 50 square miles and is due west of Fort William. There are around 2000 human inhabitants on the peninsular, but many more thousands of creatures and plants, some of which are very rare. The north coast of the peninsular faces the amazing Islands of Muck, Eigg and Rhum, while the south coast runs alongside Loch Sunart and the Sound of Mull.
The Kincavel Estate is within a large area of land belonging to the Sonachan Hotel, 1000 acres in total, 400 of which have been enclosed by fences to encourage the natural regeneration of the flora and fauna without damage by farm stock. Sonachan is located between the beautiful sandy beaches of Ardnamurchan’s north coast and Tobermory – the scene for children’s television show ‘Balamory’, which is a short ferry ride away on the Isle of Mull. So this is a lovely place to take your kids.

Pelican West $8.78 Haircut 100′s debut album, Pelican West is a widely uneven concoction of lite funk and jazzy new wave pop. Although the group’s music was frequently so light it virtually disappeared, they did record a pair of classic new wave singles with the effervescent “Love Plus One” and “Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl).” Although much of the record lacks the hooks of those two tracks, there’s a handful of enjoyably breezy pop songs on Pelican West, such as “Fantastic Day” and “Snow Girl,” that makes it worth investigating for new wave fetishists.
