Mens Tuxedos – Different Types

Men’s Tuxedos are believed by many to be the trendiest of formal men’s wear although tuxedos are less common today than earlier. However, it is worthwhile to know about the different types of tuxedos and how they are designed for different occasions. The traditionalists insist that formal tuxedos must be accompanied by long black tailcoats, a cummerbund, bow tie, and matching pants. This combination is necessary to obtain the final polished look to impress others.

Different types of tuxedos are worn depending on the time of day or night during which the tuxedo is to be worn, and the level of formality needed. Lapel styles also vary with every type of tuxedos – single breasted tuxedos are deemed more casual, while double breasted tuxedos are to be worn for very formal occasions. Again, the type of tails on the tuxedo is also important as some events require full tails, while others call for a more casual look.

For evening events, a black double breasted tuxedo with full tails is appropriate if the events are formal. If the event is white tie, wearing the most Formal Tuxedo is necessary. For any black tie optional event, a more casual single breasted tuxedo with no tails should do. If it happens to be a daytime event, then Tuxedos designed for day wear will be adequate. As a rule, when wearing men’s suits, it is necessary to ensure that the jacket and the trousers are of proper length, and the fit is perfect through the shoulders. There are few things to be considered when choosing a men’s suit though a perfect fit should matter most. Next in importance may be color and style. The best of men’s suits are suits are made of wool and if you have no financial constraints, then men’s suits in wool is the ideal choice.

Some occasions may demand professionalism and the need for a strictly formal men’s suit. On such occasions wearing a specially tailored suit may become unavoidable. The custom fit suit will give the wearer an air of sophistication that can never be achieved with any other Formal Wear.

There are a quite a few things to bear in mind while buying a Wedding Suit. Apart from the style and cut, both of which are important, one must also be selective about the type of fabric and the color.
